Non-Executive Director (NED) – MedTech (Respiratory Health)

About the Company
We are a UK MedTech company established as a spin-out from a leading US partner that pioneered a breakthrough home-based device for COPD management. Building on this proven technology, our mission is to broaden access to digital respiratory health solutions across the UK and Europe, expanding into wider chronic lung conditions and asthma management.

The Opportunity
As a Non-Executive Director, you will join the main Board at a pivotal stage of growth. Working alongside the executive team and our US partner, you will help shape the UK company’s product strategy, market entry roadmap, and commercial client engagement models.

Role Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance on the UK and European MedTech landscape, with a focus on regulatory, clinical, and commercial adoption.
Support the development of go-to-market strategy across COPD, asthma, and related respiratory health sectors.
Act as a sounding board to the leadership team on client engagement, partnerships, and scaling strategies.
Ensure robust governance, risk management, and alignment with best practice for a scaling MedTech business.
Leverage your network to open doors with clinicians, healthcare systems, payors, and strategic partners.
Contribute independent oversight on key decisions, offering constructive challenge and support.

Commitment
Approx. 2–3 days per month (Board meetings plus ad-hoc strategic input during product and commercialisation planning).

Remuneration
Strong annual contract/fee arrangement reflecting the scope of the role.
Stock options or equity participation available to align long-term interests with company growth and value creation.
The package will be structured competitively and tailored to the candidate’s experience and contribution.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a commercially astute, networked leader with experience in:

MedTech, Digital Health, or Life Sciences.
Scaling innovative health technologies ino the UK and European markets.
Engaging with NHS, private healthcare providers, or partners
Prior Board or advisory experience (NED/Advisor/Executive Board).
Strong strategic mindset, balanced with pragmatic commercial and governance acumen.
Experience in understanding the regulatory landscape would be advantageous.
